Just a few reminders for the next few days...

Christmas Activities this week: 
-December 20th: Reindeer Day and Candy Grams delivered. Graduate Sub Sale delivery.
-December 21st: Semi-formal wear and awards ceremony.
-December 22nd: Last day of classes! Christmas extravaganza! Dismissed at 12:50
-School resumes on January 8th, it will be Day 6.

December 19th

Our school Christmas dinner was a success! Thanks to everyone who helped!

Biology 3201: Students completed their bulletin projects.

Environmental Science: Students started an article and questions on composting.

Science 8/9: Labs and in-class assignments were handed back. Chapter 2 is now complete. We will begin Chapter 3 after the Christmas break.

Math 8: We started Unit 4 on constructing nets.

Science 1206/2200: Quizzes were handed back.

Math 6: Students finished the coordinates section.

Math 7: Unit 3 tests were given back.

Science 1206: Naming Compounds was completed. We will begin types of reactions next class.

Science 6/7: Students worked on a group constellation project. We will finish these next class!

Science 8/9: In-class assignment on Chapter 1-2 was completed.

Math 6: Students worked on coordinate grids and data problems.

Math 7: Review for test on Monday.

Biology 3201: STI and infertility solution bulletin project was completed.

Environmental Science: Students continued work on their recreation cube activity.

Semi-formal for 6-12 is tonight at 7:00 



Math 6: Students completed a coordinate grid activity and also made there own designs using ordered pairs.

Math 7: Assignment was completed today. Due to play practice the test is now rescheduled to Monday!!

Biology 3201: We completed the female reproductive section and students completed a part/function summary chart.

Environmental Science: Students started an environmental recreation impact cube activity!

Math 8: In-class assignment was completed today. Test will be on Monday.

Science 1206: Students reviewed their naming compound rules. Quiz will be on Monday.

Science 2200: Continued work on their compost posters.

Reminder: Science 8/9 in-class assignment on Chapter 1-2 is tomorrow!

Math 8: We reviewed for our in-class unit 3 assignment which is tomorrow. test will be on Monday.

Science 1206: Students continued work on their naming compounds assignment. If it was not finished in class it is due tomorrow.

Science 2200: Students started their composting advertisement posters.

Math 6: Unit 3 tests were handed back and reviewed and we continued with the data relationship unit.

Math 7: Unit 3 assignment was completed. Due to play practice the test will now be on Friday!

Science 8/9: We finished our review on chapter 1-2. Assignment will be on Friday.

Science 1206: Reminder that chemical naming quiz will be on December 14th.

Math 6: We began our new unit on Data Relationships.

Math 7: We began section 3.8.

Math 8: Students worked on fraction word problems. Please finish any questions page 151 3-9 and 11 that were not completed in class. We will start section 3.9 tomorrow. Unit assignment will be December 14th.

Science 1206: Today was the last day to work on naming compounds poster. Your poster is due on Monday if you have not yet finished.

Science 2200: Continued with our composting article. Portfolio Part 1 Marks have been posted.

Science 6/7: We began our planet models.

Math 6: Students completed their Unit 3 Test.

Math 7: Work was completed on section 3.7 We will start section 3.8 tomorrow.

Math 8: We started the section on solving problems involving fractions. We will continue with this tomorrow.

Math 6: Students were given back their assignments. We reviewed for their test tomorrow!

Math 7: Assignments were handed back. We started section 3.7 on percents. 3.7 booklets are due tomorrow.

Biology 3201: Labs were due today. We reviewed with a Christmas Pass the Parcel game for our test on Monday December 11th.

Environmental Science: Tests were handed back. We began unit 2.

Science 8/9: Students completed a metals lab. They are due on Monday.

Biology 3201: We completed a microscope mitosis and meiosis lab today. They are due tomorrow. Test will be Monday December 11th.

Environmental Science: Chapter 4-5 Quiz was today. We will begin unit 2 tomorrow.

Math 8: Students finished work on section 3.7. We have two sections left and then there will be an in-class assignment and test.

Science 8/9: We completed a Periodic Table Family "Bulletin Activity". Checklists were given out, portfolios will be collected on Wednesday and assignment will be December 13th.

Math 8: We began section 3.7.

Science 1206: We finished naming acid rules and started a naming rule poster.

Science 2200: Ecology cube was finished and we began a composting article.

Science 6/7: Students worked on their Planet brochures. They are due on Wednesday.

Science 2200: Students worked on their ecology cube project. First half of their ecology portfolio will be collected next week.

Science 1206: We finished molecular naming and started acids today. We will finish these next day.

Math 6/7: In-class assignment will be on Tuesday December 5th. We had lots of fun playing a bean bag review game!

Math 8: Students worked on section 3.6 questions, page 139 #4,7-11, 1. Please complete for homework if you did not finish in class.

Science 8/9: Portfolios will be collected next Wednesday. We played element Bingo to review for our upcoming assignment on December 13th.

Biology 3201: Mitosis/meiosis quiz was completed. We will be completing a lab on Monday.

Environmental Science: Quiz chapter 4-5 is on Tuesday December 5th.
