September 29th

Science 9: Today we worked on review questions from Chapter 11 in preparation for the exit card on Monday October 3rd. Questions are due on Monday, we will correct them at the beginning of class and the exit card will be in the last 10 minutes! It will include 2 questions from chapter 11. Don`t forget to study:)

Health 8&9: The Communication Speech Balloon Assignment is due next class, Wednesday October 5th. Don't forget you need at least 4 speech balloons for each person in your conversation and you need the type of communication listed on the top of your sheet.


Science 8: Today we worked on a group activity about different technologies for exploring the ocean floor. We will continue with this next class. Don't forget to study for your exit card on Monday. There will be two questions from chapter 2.

September 27th

Science 8: After a tie breaker review game of leap frog, we started notes for Chapter 2. Students were reminded to keep reviewing for the upcoming exit card on Monday October 3rd. This will be a closed book activity.

Science 9: Today we completed notes on Chapter 11. We learned all about the sun and planets. There will be a closed book exit card on Monday October 3rd. Next class we will be completing questions on Chapter 11 for our portfolio and if time permits we will have a review game!!!

Science 8: This week we will be starting Chapter 2: Oceans Control the Water Cycle.
(page 36 textbook)

Science 9: This week we will be continuing with Chapter 11: We Continue to Learn a lot about the Solar System by Using Space Exploration. (page 388 in textbook)

Health 8/9: We will continue with our Speech Balloon Communication Assignment this week.
