Science 8/9: We had an electricity Easter Egg hunt! We also experimented with making circuits! We even built an FM radio!

Math 8: Unit 5 test was completed.

Science 1206: We completed the acceleration section.

Science 2200: Students continued work on their Bloom Balls

Science 6/7: We continued creating our song for the Take Charge NL contest!

Math 8: We completed review for our test tomorrow.

Science 8/9: Students completed series and parallel practice. Please finish for homework and place in your portfolio. Page 303 #7-10 and Page 336 #15-18

Biology 3201: We continued with chapter 17.

Environmental Science: Students began a forestry technology assignment.

Math 6: We began our new fraction unit!

Math 7: We began our new unit on solving equations

Biology 3201: There will be a retest on Chapter 16 tomorrow at lunch. We began Chapter 17 today.

Environmental Science: Students completed a pros and cons chart on clear cutting and selective cutting in forestry.

Science 6/7: Please finish your safety posters if you have not yet completed and placed in your portfolio. We are completing a class entry for the take charge NL contest! We will be writing a song about conserving energy!

Math 8: Students completed their in-class assignment. Test on Unit 5 will be Wednesday.

Math 6: We finished our percent unit and reviewed for the test on Thursday.

Math 7: Students reviewed for their test tomorrow. Lot's of fun playing review wheel of fortune!

Biology 3201: Chapter 16 test is tomorrow! We had an Easter egg hunt review.

Environmental Science: Students worked on their forestry career profiles.

Math 8: We started our last section (5.10). Assignment will be next Monday and test next Wednesday.

Science 1206/2200: We completed a speed lab in the gym. Distance-time graph worksheet #1-3 is for homework. We will finish the rest in class on Thursday.

Science 6/7: We completed a static electricity activity.

Math 8: We completed section 5.9. If you did not finish the practice questions page 298-299 #5, 6, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 & 18 please finish for homework. Unit assignment will be next Monday March 26th and test will be Wednesday March 28th.

Science 1206: Students completed practice on Distance- Time graphs. Please finish up to #3 for homework.

Science 2200: Students worked on graphs for their weather project.

Math 6: Students worked on percent practice problems. Please finish page 188-189 #3,5,6,7,11 and page 193 #1,3,5 if you did not finish in class. Ratio and percent test will be this Thursday March 22nd.

Math 7: Students completed their unit assignment. Unit test will be Wednesday March 21st.

Science 8/9: We started chapter 9 on series and parallel circuits. Please finish your chart if you did not finish in class.

Science 1206: We began our section on distance- time graphs.

Science 2200: Students completed graphs for their weather assignment.

Science 6/7: We completed an activity on our carbon footprint and ways we can reduce it.

Math 6: We began our section on percents. There will be a ratio/percent test next week. I will let students know the date on Monday.

Math 7: Students reviewed for unit assignment on Monday. Test is Wednesday.

Biology 3201: We completed the section on pedigrees. Chapter 16 test is next Wednesday.

Environmental Science: Students continued with Chapter 10.

Math 8: Students worked on section 5.8 practice problems and we began 5.9.

Math 6: We reviewed ratios with a ratio relay game! We will begin percents next class.

Math 7: Students completed section 5.7. The unit assignment will be Monday, March 19th and test will be Wednesday, March 21st.

Biology 3201: We finished the human genetics section. Test will be March 21st.

Environmental Science: Students began chapter 10, they completed a forestry timeline.

Science 8/9: Chapter 7/8 in-class assignment was completed.

Math 8: We began section 5.8. We will continue with this section next class. Reminder that tomorrow's class will be Pi Day activities!

Science 1206/2200: Students went to a CNA presentation. Mini speed/conversion assignment will be tomorrow.

Science 6/7: We began our electricity unit with an 'ABC activity' and started talking about static electricity. Don't forget to continue with your electricity journals, they are due on Friday.

Math 6: We continued with our section on equivalent ratios. Please finish questions page 184-185 #3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10 for homework, if you did not finish in class.

Math 7: Students completed sections 5.6 and 5.7. Booklets are due tomorrow. Tentative date for the unit assignment is this Friday.

Math 6: We started our new unit on ratios and percents. Students completed an activity "Body Ratios".

Math 7: Students completed an adding fractions 3 ways poster. We will begin subtraction on Monday.
